Hello everyone, I am pleased to present the status of Singapore as one of the two final countries, other than Moscow, to get into the final round of the bid for the Youth Olympics 2010. May the best country win. I would like to stress that Singapore has a number of fantastic structures built to accomodate participants and so on. For instance, the to be erected campus for the participants, also known as the Olympic Village. It is built on a golf course and one should know the obstacles in a golf course like trees, lakes and undulating terrain. A great deal of excavation is only possible and a high level of skill is thus required by the engineers to construct the Olympic Village. Once complete, it will look very modernised and should have enough space to accomodate the athletes. Other than that, we have a sufficient number of facilities to suit the athletes' needs. There are also enough venues in the tiny country, singapore, to host the YOG 2010! We would also like to assure the athletes that it is very safe in the campus. not only that, we plan to make it as eco-friendly as possible. with more greenery comes more fresh oxygen. hence allowing athletes not to get choked up with smog or haze. Rest assured that if Singapore wins the bid, we will make this event a complete sucess. Thank You.
