Short press release:Hello all. Today I am talking to you about a breakthrough acheived by me and my group members. We have made a device that helps others(students) learn better in class. We call this device "unstudier". This basically means what it's name is although there is no such word as this in a dictionary. Now to get to the point. This can be used by students when in class. The "unstudier" is actually some sort of headpiece which transfers the information from the disc inserted into the device which goes through a highly complicated system that requires at least 5 years of highly concentrated research. This system can not only work in the classroom but also any where else with a computer, preferably not a laptop. This system normally takes 1 hour or so to transfer about 50Megabytes but this is just a test. Meanwhile, we are also working on hastening the transfer rate and in the near future, we may be able to have the "unstudier" at rates of 50Gigabytes per hour. But then we should be content with the current speed. I thank you for your attention.

Speech:In reference to news clip #1(Fishy Business), I am going to talk about the awareness of the cruelty to whales in the fishing industry. As a member of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty To Animals(SPCA), I would like to stress on a point that whales are dwindling at an alarming rate and yet, the fishing industry does not bat an eyelid, if much research was done and published in local newspapers, all would know that whales are endangered and should be preserved as in the fishing industry stpping their acts. Even though quotas for fishing of whales are implemented, many still exceed them and this is the aftermath. Also, a rule has been established that it is now against the law to poach whales, but still, many do not abide ny these rules and still hunt whales. Maybe it is because that they are short of money and need to sell the blubber of the whales, which fetch quite a high price. Whale's blubber is actually fat from a whale and can be used for many purposes. Whales are actually mammals which are our kind. So please help stop the abusing of whales and spare a thought for their future

Week 2 in HCI

Another week has passed!!!!!!! Come to think of it, it has been quite an exciting one. Another day and it is now week3 of the year. Time sure flies nowadays. Now there are more homework:( and less time to relax, well that's all about being in secondary schools. It's now almost midnight, so good night!

1st week of school

What a busy week! It was filled with orientation for CCAs, lessons and so on. as we were sec 1 freshmen, seniors led us around the school and told us about..................we were also introduced to the teachers and my class is 1p2(proed) and my form teacher is Mrs Raj. Thats all. Thanks
